Palma pedestrian street becomes ‘skating rink’ during rain
Nuredduna Street in Palma, along with the nearby Plaza de las Columnas, has been described by locals as turning into “a skating rink” during rain. This is due to the number of accidents and slips reported on the wet pavement, which residents say remains hazardous even when the street is hosed down for cleaning, according to a regular of a local bar in the pedestrianised area providing access to the Avingudes and Porta de Sant Antoni.
