These are the traditional Mallorcan dishes you should try in Palma

The Mallorca-based portal Passion for Palma has published a guide showcasing the most representative dishes of Palma's gastronomy, a cuisine that "is heir to a rich culinary tradition, a melting pot of cultures bathed by the Mediterranean, with dishes that tell ancestral stories and flavours that remain intact." According to the report, Mallorca's pantry features extra virgin olive oils, wines with denomination of origin, sobrasada with Protected Geographical Indication, seasonal vegetables and fresh fish from the local market.
